Like A Mother Fucker! The first Heartbreakers album, warts and all. Much has been said about the poor quality of the mix on this album and as a result it has been re-released three times using different mixes. The first remixed version was released in 1977 on cassette only and sounds slightly different than the original. In 1984 the second remix was released as 'L.A.M.F. Revisited' and in 1994 the third remix came out as 'L.A.M.F. The Lost 77 Mixes'. To my ears, the Lost 77 Mixes version has the most punch and sounds best.
There are another two CDs that contain different versions of some of these tracks: 'L.A.M.F. Outtracks' and 'L.A.M.F. Another Takes'.
Due to several factors, including the label going bankrupt, not too many copies of this original album were made. It has a cool cover and is very collectable today.
